Texas Legislative Sessions: The Good, the Bad, the Ugly, & the Uglier

  • Conroe's Incredible Pizza 230 South Loop 336 West Conroe, TX, 77304 United States (map)

The 88th Texas Legislature ended its regular session on May 29 with an immediate call from Governor Abbott to return to business in what is to be a series of special sessions. The first special session was to cover two items: property tax relief and border security. No bills were signed from the first special session, so Governor Abbott’s second special session call focused solely on property tax relief.

Join us at our July 6th meeting for the latest on the special sessions as well as victories and defeats in the regular session. Get up to speed and learn steps you can take to encourage the Texas Legislature to finish the job they were elected to do.
