Text Election Reminders to Family, Friends, & Neighbors
If you’re concerned about voters getting to the polls, there are two useful phone apps that allow you to take action by sending texts to MANY Republicans in your area and reminding them to vote in the November Midterms.
You can download these free apps to your phone in the App Store or Google Play store or at the links below. Both state that they do not store your information for marketing purposes.
You can also send personal text messages to your contacts without using an app.

Abbott Impact App - Created by Governor Abbott’s campaign. Download the app and create a free account. You will enter your address so the app can pull up Republicans in your area. Click the option to “Message Neighbors.” The app will load a list of Republicans and provide a pre-written text message for you to send (the text message cannot be edited). Texts are attributed to a phone number generated by the app and replies to your text are stored in the app so you can respond. Texts will be generated by the app and recipients do not see your phone number.
Early Vote Action App - Created by activist Scott Presler’s PAC, Early Vote Action. Download the app and create a free account. You will enter your address so the app can pull up Republicans in your area. Click on the menu on the left side of the screen, then click “Send Texts.” Click on the green button that says “Voters Near Me.” The app will load a list of Republicans. Click on a name and then click “Text.” The app will generate a text that you can edit before sending. Texts will be sent from your phone and recipients will see your phone number.
Send text messages yourself - While the apps can help you reach out to lots of voters in your area, you can also just send text messages to friends and family in your contact list.
