It is very important to do your own research before going to vote, and not just rely on a handout at the polls. Some groups organize exclusively during election season to get their candidates elected.
Special Warning for Primary Elections:
Any PAC or club with “Republican” in the name that endorses Republican candidates during Primary Elections is NOT affiliated with nor does it represent the Montgomery County Republican Party or the Republican Party of Texas.
Since there’s no law preventing groups from using the word “Republican” or “Conservative” in their organization’s name, Democrats sometimes use this tactic to get Republicans to vote against their values. Many voters have been deceived in the past by thinking these are official Republican Party endorsements!
Just as you wouldn’t buy a new car based only on what the salesman tells you, it’s important to do your own research when choosing a voter guide.
Deceptive PACs to watch out for:
Check incoming mailers or handouts at the polls for small disclaimer info at the bottom of the page.
❌ Republican Voters of TX PAC — Organizes during Primary Election season to get their preferred candidates elected. No significant vetting process.
❌ Montgomery County First PAC — A new PAC that was formed during the 2026 Primary Election season. Their endorsements are exactly opposite of the highly vetted candidates endorsed by the Montgomery County Tea Party and Texas Eagle Forum.
❌ Montgomery County Republican Club PAC — Organizes during Primary Election season to get their preferred candidates elected. No significant vetting process.
❌ Associated Republicans of TX PAC — Organizes during Primary Election season to get their preferred candidates elected. No significant vetting process.
❌ Texas Conservative Tea Party Coalition (aka the former fake Tea Party). No significant vetting process.
❌ Preserve The Woodlands PAC — Left-leaning establishment. Preserve it for developers, not residents.
❌ Texas Pro-Business Coalition — New left-leaning PAC. (Most of their funding is from developer, Danny Signorelli.)
❌ Texas Leadership Alliance — From private mailbox in El Paso. New left-leaning PAC created Feb. 5, 2026, to elect Precinct Chairs who oppose the sitting conservative Precinct Chairs endorsed by the Montgomery County Tea Party and Texas Eagle Forum.
❌ Montgomery Law Enforcement Association — New mailer went out during the 2026 Primary Election. Who paid for this mailing? We know it wasn’t our local police.
❌ Texas Sands PAC and Texas Defense PAC — Casino-backed PACs spending millions in Texas.
More deception in Montgomery County:
❌ Will Metcalf’s “Open Letter to Montgomery County” — Accused the conservative wing (nearly 2/3 of the elected Montgomery County Republican Party Precinct Chairs) of “hijacking” the party in holding both him and Cecil Bell accountable for voting with a majority of the Democrats for Dustin Burrows to be Speaker of the Texas House.
As a result, Metcalf empowered and provided extra funding for the Democrat vice chairs during the session, resulting in very few of our highest priorities being passed – again!
Decades of foot-dragging in spite of a majority of Republican legislators. It’s past time to hold elected officials accountable! There’s absolutely no more time to fool around.
❌ ATTACK VIDEOS by Wayne Dolcefino – Dolcefino is a PAID liar, deceiver, accuser “reporter.” Partial facts turned upside down. He attacked the conservative wing of the Montgomery County Republican Party during the 2026 Primary Election. For more information, watch this video from Steve Bannon’s War Room.
Be an educated voter and ask the following questions:
Who paid for the voter guide or flyer?
Who is on the organization’s board of directors?
Is the group led by grassroots citizens or is it driven by campaigns to elect specific individuals?
How often does the group meet? Do they meet on a regular basis or do they only meet during election season?
How are candidates vetted to make sure they are really Republicans or Conservatives? What are the criteria for being included on the flyer?
Visit transparencyusa.org or the Texas Ethics Commission to look up who is funding the voter guides you receive.
