🚨 Emergency Alert: Conservative Voices Needed on Two Important Education Issues in Texas

Tuesday, April 7, is a big day for Texas, America, and our public school students. Our State Board of Education (SBOE) will review the latest draft on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Social Studies (TEKS). They will also be voting on a list of recommended literary works to be taught in each grade level as required by Texas law.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has openly stated its goal of advancing Sharia law in Texas. CAIR and Leftists showed up at the last SBOE meeting demanding “inclusion” in our children’s history curriculum. They insist our SBOE members insert their preferred narrative of our history, pro-Islamic ideology, and woke indoctrination into our Social Studies TEKS. They will all be back on Tuesday to fight to rewrite our history.

Without our voices, we are extremely concerned that several Republican SBOE members (Evelyn Brooks, Will Hickman, Pam Little, and perhaps Keven Ellis) could join the Left and CAIR to support the weaker book list and make negative changes to the current draft of the Social Studies TEKS.

Click below for easy action steps you can take to stop Islamists and supporting Leftists from taking control of Texas public education.

Deadline for making a public comment on reading list is Saturday, April 4, at 5pm!

Deadline to email your SBOE Member is Monday, April 6.

➡️ Special Election for Texas Senate District 4

Message from Brett Ligon:

I am the Republican candidate in the upcoming Special Election for Senate District 4 on May 2nd. This is a one-on-one race between myself as the only Republican on the ballot and a Democrat opponent, and the outcome will depend entirely on turnout.

In a recent Senate special election in a district with similar conservative numbers in North Texas, Republicans lost simply because they did not turn out the vote.

Early voting begins April 20th and runs through April 28th, with Election Day on Saturday, May 2nd. Time is short, and every effort to inform and mobilize voters will make a difference. If anyone wants to get involved in my campaign, please fill out this form. All help is greatly appreciated.

➡️ Understanding MUDs

It is important for residents to have a voice in their water bill costs and on their MUD boards. In Texas, your MUD tax rate can exceed your school tax rate if residents are not vigilant to vote in MUD elections and sit on MUD boards. Water lines should be replaced based on condition, not age. Does your wastewater treatment facility really need to be replaced?
