Sullivan is the publisher of Texas Scorecard. Through news reporting and investigative journalism, Texas Scorecard reports on the advancement of self-governance in Texas.

A native Texan and graduate of Texas A&M, Sullivan has worked as a newspaper reporter, magazine contributor, Capitol Hill staffer, and think tank vice president. He and his wife have three adult children.
