The Inside Story on the Texas Special Session
We are so excited to welcome Texas Eagle Forum President, Cindi Castilla, to our August meeting! Cindi will be coming straight from the Legislative Special Session in Austin where she’s fighting on our behalf for Conservative values and Eagle Forum legislative priorities.
Cindi will provide a first-hand update on Special Session issues, including:
➡️ Regulation of THC & Hemp-Derived Products
➡️ Protecting the Unborn
➡️ Protecting Women’s Spaces
➡️ Cutting Property Taxes
➡️ Banning Taxpayer-Funded Lobbying
➡️ Allowing the Attorney General to Prosecute State Election Crimes
She will discuss other hot-button topics as they arise, such as the Islamification of Texas and the importance of electing grassroots Conservatives to office so that issues are passed during the regular session without needing a Special Session and without Democrats pulling theatricals to obstruct the legislative process.

About Cindi Castilla
Cindi currently serves as the president of Texas Eagle Forum. Her parents introduced her to political activism as a child and she has been involved in the Conservative movement ever since. After becoming a follower of Jesus, she began to understand her political positions based on our brilliant constitution and God's Word.
Cindi became a precinct chair and election judge in her early 20s. While she has been a leader in and is currently a member of several Republican groups, she found her best fit in Eagle Forum. Cindi loves researching issues and going over bills to determine their impact on the people of Texas.

Times
Buffet starting at 4:30 pm (Beat the crowd, come early!)
Prayer Group: 5:30 - 6:00 pm
Meeting & Speaker: 6:30 - 8:30 pm (includes time for Q&A)

$9.00+tax
