The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District was created by the State of Texas to regulate the groundwater resources of Montgomery County. Regular board meetings are open to the public.

Monthly meetings of the Board of Directors are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. All board meetings are held in the James B. “Jim” Wesley Board Room at the District Office.
