Featured Speakers:
Kristen Plaisance, Republican Nominee for Texas House District 3, will address voter rolls, mail-in ballots, and broader election integrity issues in Montgomery County and Texas. Drawing from her extensive research into election laws, procedures, and systems, she will highlight major vulnerabilities, recent successes, legislative efforts, and practical steps you can take to help protect our elections.
Lonna Hord, Montgomery County Republican Party Secretary, will discuss shadowy Political Action Committees (PACs) that have been sending mailers into counties across Texas, including Montgomery County. Hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent on mailers in the March Primary Election alone. Many of these mailers were untraceable back to the sender, did not properly disclose who paid for them, or were coordinated by out-of-state groups. Jon Bouché, local activist and former candidate for Texas House District 16, will explore deceptive campaigning practices including voter guides that mimic official party materials, pay-to-play voter guides, and false endorsements. Learn how to verify sources, read the fine print, and research independently, especially in low-turnout elections where every vote carries extra weight.
