About Bonnie Lyons

Bonnie Lyons is the Legislative Chair for the Montgomery County Republican Party. She works with a committee of six additional members to inform, engage and mobilize voters. Bonnie holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She worked as a newspaper reporter for two years, during which time she was a Legislative Correspondent in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. During that session, she was hired as Press Secretary for a state representative's run for Congress. When he won his race, she continued to work for him for 13 years, alternately working in his district office and on various district and state-wide campaigns.
