The TEC is now actively investigating multiple complaints pointing to what appears to be a coordinated conspiracy to violate TEC 255.001 — the foundational requirement that political ads disclose who paid for them.

This matters beyond the immediate violations: shell companies can be used to conceal contributions from government contractors, corporations, and even foreign nationals — who are completely prohibited by law from spending and/or making direct contributions in U.S. elections.
