We Need Your Help to Restore Texas Education
A message from Cindi Castilla, President, Texas Eagle Forum
In April, patriots throughout Texas showed up to testify before the State Board of Education (SBOE) for Social Studies standards that will help students better understand the people, places, and events that made Texas and America great.
At the same time, leaders from non-assimilating cultures and Leftists (sadly, including Texas teachers and their indoctrinated students) were there to fight against us and asked for DEI, LGBTQ focus, the glorification of foreign cultures, and continuing disparagement of America and our history.
The Texas patriots won the first battle! After listening to the testimony of several hundred Texans in person and examining thousands of online testimonies, the SBOE members, led by Julie Pickren and Brandon Hall, worked to make the standards even stronger than they were going in.
Defend Texas Values Before the Final Vote
The SBOE is required to provide one more opportunity for public testimony before its final vote. The Left is working overtime to change SBOE members’ minds and get them to reverse course.
We cannot let that happen! There are several ways you can help. Please choose the one that works best for you.
Take Action on Proposed Social Studies TEKS
Submit Public Comment Through June 15 at 5pm
Support the proposed Social Studies standards that strengthen the teaching of Texas and American history. These standards place greater emphasis on liberty, self-government, civic knowledge, and the enduring principles that have guided Texas and America for generations.
Don’t let non-assimilating cultures and Leftists rewrite OUR history!
🚨 How to Submit Public Comment on Social Studies TEKS: Now through June 15 at 5 pm, you may submit your public comments by CLICKING HERE and choosing “Proposed New 19 TAC Chapter 113, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Social Studies.” These comments are read and counted as for or against, and considered in the final decisions.
Right now, anti-American, pro-LGBTQ, Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and anti-God Leftists are desperately making comments. They are holding comment-writing sessions throughout the state and are way ahead of us at this moment. Please help us catch up! Consider having a comment-writing party and share this alert with your friends who may be willing to submit a public comment.

Proposed Literature List Also Needs Your Support
Submit Public Comment Through June 15 at 5pm
The State Board of Education will also consider the required, revised literature list for students in kindergarten through 12th grade that restores an emphasis on classic works, cultural literacy, and the texts that have shaped our language, history, and civilization.
The proposed list helps students engage with enduring works of literature while providing the historical and literary background necessary to understand many of the world's most influential writings.

Taking this to the finish line can change a generation, creating a legacy to help strengthen and preserve the gifts we have been given of Texas and America.
