The World Health Organization Will Implement Global Trans Policies

If you need yet another reason to oppose the World Health Organization (WHO), they are now preparing to push the transgender agenda globally. From February 19-21, 2024, a group of individuals will meet on behalf of the WHO to formulate guidelines to increase access to so-called “gender-affirming” puberty blockers, hormone treatments, and surgeries regardless of age. Although this will be their first meeting, it’s clear that their minds are already made up.

The WHO has been straightforward with its pro-trans agenda. They define gender as a social construct that “varies from society to society and can change over time,” and they consider “gender affirming care” an essential health intervention along with “removing punitive laws, policies and practices.” Any law that restricts or eliminates transition surgeries or hormone therapies will be seen as a threat. Medical professionals who feel uncomfortable assisting in these practices will be forced into compliance if countries continue their membership with the WHO and United Nations.

The list of the 21 panelists proposing these guidelines is blatantly biased. Three-fourths of members identify as transgender or work for organizations pushing pro-trans policies. Additionally, most have condemned the helpful therapies that explore root causes of gender dysphoria rather than affirm the identity-delusion. These biased individuals are unlikely to question the humanness or ethicality of these procedures. They are steamrolling ahead as is outlined in their press release:

This new guideline will provide evidence and implementation guidance on health sector interventions aimed at increasing access and utilization of quality and respectful health services by trans and gender-diverse people. The guideline will focus in 5 areas: provision of gender-affirming care, including hormones; health workers education and training for the provision of gender-inclusive care; provision of health care for trans and gender-diverse people who suffered interpersonal violence based in their needs; health policies that support gender-inclusive care, and legal recognition of self-determined gender identity.

It seems like the cards are stacked against us, but there are still several ways to combat this movement.

On the federal level, Republicans have inserted language into various bills protecting minors from grooming and transgender policies. But, this should go hand-in-hand with Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and Representative Chip Roy’s (R-TX) Disengaging Entirely from the United Nations “DEFUND” Act (S. 3428/H.R. 6645) - a bill to pull funding and U.S. membership from the United Nations and the WHO. The House has defunded the WHO in the State Department appropriations bill and Congress should ensure that restriction is maintained in the final spending bill. In addition, Rep. Andy Biggs has a bill, H.R. 79, that gets the U.S. out of the WHO.

Action is happening in the states too. In 2023, 16 states enacted sensible laws that limit or ban transgender procedures for minors. As evident by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s shocking veto of the Saving Adolescents from Experimentation Act (H.B. 68), this agenda can radicalize members of either political party. We must hold all elected officials accountable and support only those who take a strong stance against the transgender lobby and their harmful lies.

Eagle Forum was privileged to hear from Chloe Cole at Eagle Council 51 who was encouraged to transition and have her breasts removed as a minor and now regrets her decision. In previous years, we heard from Billy Burleigh who detransition as an adult. Their powerful stories expose the reality of harmful transgender procedures and give hope to individuals struggling with gender dysphoria that the radicals do not provide.

Eagle Forum will continue to creatively engage grassroots activists, state and federal lawmakers, and like-minded organizations to stand against the transgender takeover.
