Bring Your Bible to School Day

Bring Your Bible to School Day

DID YOU KNOW? October 2 is Focus on the Family’s Bring Your Bible to School Day! It’s a wonderful chance for your kids to take their Bibles to school, for you to bring yours to work, or even to share a verse with a neighbor. This day offers a great opportunity to make God’s Word visible in your community.

This year’s theme verse, James 1:22, encourages us to “Be doers of the word, not hearers only.” It’s a call to live out our faith boldly and visibly through our everyday actions.

Here’s why families love participating:

1. Shine Your Light Together

Jesus said, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Bring Your Bible to School Day gives families a chance to live out that verse, showing what faith looks like in everyday life and inspiring others through simple acts of courage and love.

2. Live Your Faith Out Loud

Carrying your Bible to school, your workplace, or your neighborhood is a bold step in sharing the hope you have in Christ.
