The MC Eagle Forum was formed to accomplish the following mission:

  • Educate - Enable people to become informed citizens by promoting the Constitutional principles and Judeo-Christian values upon which this nation and its governing documents are founded.
  • Motivate - Assist constituents in becoming more involved in the process of influencing legislation and holding elected officials accountable.
  • Activate - Encourage citizens to vote responsibly, become more productive public servants and consider becoming office holders themselves.

The Montgomery County Eagle Forum will once again sponsor a National Day of Prayer event this year, along with our cosponsor the Montgomery County Right to Life. Please join us Thursday, May 2nd at 7:00pm at Conroe First Assembly of God Church as we gather together to lift our hearts and minds to God seeking His wisdom, guidance and grace for our community and our nation. This event is open to the public and all are welcome.

What Did Our Founders Say about God and Country?

...proclaimed in his Farewell Address, "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. ... [R]eason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle." ...aptly observed, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." ...stated, "Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that their liberties are a gift of God?"
